Origin & Appearance
The Alocasia Zebrina, also known as the "zebra plant", comes from the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia, particularly Borneo and the Philippines. It belongs to the Araceae family and grows there in the shade of large trees. This plant is characterized by its distinctively striped stems, which have a black and yellow zebra pattern. The large, arrow-shaped leaves in strong green grow on long, curved stems and give it an elegant growth habit. While it occasionally flowers in the wild, the small, club-shaped flowers are rarely seen indoors.

▪ Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sun can burn the leaves, while too little light inhibits growth.
▪ Water: The soil should always be evenly moist, but not wet. Avoid waterlogging!
